What's the Music?
The music is a "recording" of an actual ARCHIMEDES measurement. As each particle is measured, its mass is mapped onto three octaves of a pentatonic minor scale. The time intervals between the notes naturally obey Poisson statistics, and are also used to scale the duration of each note.
